Snooper Ventura is a completely unique satellite navigation system, designed specially for caravan and motor home use. Ventura allows the user to input the length, width and weight of vehicle; Ventura will then calculate routes that are practical and safe, avoiding low bridges and narrow roads unsuitable for larger vehicles.
Ventura utilises the on-board ACSI Campsite database. The search facility will navigate you to one of 8600 campsites across 29 countries across Europe. Ventura will even show you in-depth information as well as a photograph of your chosen campsite.
Simply select the country and region you want to visit then select from a list of facilities you require such as campsites with swimming pools, water sports, a nearby river, by the sea, with shops, restaurants etc Ventura will then do the rest. A list of campsites that match your chosen criteria will be displayed. Once you have selected the campsite you want to visit, Ventura will route you straight there safely.
Ventura comes with the option of Snooper's award winning speed camera location technology. The new AURA speed camera database now provides protection around the world. So wherever your destination you will always be protected. Car navigation.
Although Ventura has clearly been designed to navigate caravans and mobile homes on safely it also incorporates a car setting. Simply switch Ventura to car mode and it will navigate you on a more effective route for your car.
Multi-route technology.
Ventura's new 'Multi-route' planning software allows the user to calculate a single route around 10 different destinations just by adding the postcodes. No stopping and starting, struggling to find each and every address, simply input your full day's travel itinerary and in just a few seconds the route will be calculated.
TMC Traffic information technology - FREE of charge!
As a driver you will know the importance of needing to know exactly what lies ahead. Accurate and reliable information is a must to ensure that you get to your destination on time. Snooper's TMC information is provided by ITIS the leading provider of traffic and travel information in the UK. ITIS pioneered the use of Floating Vehicle Data® from cellular phone networks and GPS devices. They combine the source data with journalistic and fixed-sensor data. Sophisticated analysis within Traffic Science then delivers real-time and historic traffic information that is rich in detail is extremely accurate.
Ventura's TMC service will alert you to all traffic incidents across the country and lists them in distance order from your current position. As well as this overview however you can also choose to monitor traffic incidents that are specific to the route you have programmed on the system. And, if there is congestion on your route you can simply ask Ventura to automatically find a route away from it.
Bluetooth Handsfree Technology
Stay on the right side of the law simply pair your Bluetooth enable mobile phone with Ventura so you can take a call whilst you are on the move.
Available as an optional extra is an extension microphone perfect for vehicles, which generate a lot of background noise. The microphone can be installed permanently or temporarily and ensures that you will always be heard clearly. The microphone can be purchased separately for £9.99 Inc vat.
