New Snooper LYNX GT utilises state-of-the-art GPS technology to provide protection from all types of 'fixed' speed cameras. But that's not all; LYNX GT uses wireless GPRS technology to provide warnings of mobile speed traps locations. Normal GPS speed traps detectors can only alert you to 'fixed' speed traps such as Gatso and Truvelo cameras, but LYNX GT is different.

At the touch of a button any member of the LYNX GT community can share the location of mobile police speed traps or cameras with other LYNX GT users. The instant a mobile police speed trap has been spotted all other LYNX GT users will be notified. In addition LYNX GT automatically updates its speed camera database wirelessly. No downloading via a PC!

With LYNX GT the AURA database is delivered to you automatically using GPRS technology. Speed trap positions are sent to your device wirelessly wherever you, limiting your chances of missing a camera even further. New camera positions will be sent you literally seconds after they have been added to the database.

In addition if another user notices a mobile speed trap or hazard they can 'share' this information with you instantly at the touch of a button. You will then also be alerted to mobile speed traps such as laser camera vans.

Your Snooper LYNX GT can also operate as portable tracking device. Your LYNX GT Air Time contract will provide you with access to a secure, password protected website. Track the position of LYNX GT at any time, view current as well as historical journey reports as well as other useful information including average speed and daily, weekly and monthly mileage.

LYNX GT Airtime Contract

To provide you with up to the second, real-time, wireless update Snooper LYNX GT requires an airtime contract.

There are 3 easy ways to pay using a credit or direct debit card:

A minimum contract 12 month required. Airtime contract provides LYNX GT with real time fixed speed camera alerts and updates. In addition LYNX GT will allow the user to 'share' mobile speed trap positions with other users and receive mobile positions from other users. Please note that LYNX GT, like your mobile phone will not operate without an airtime contract.
