As with all Snooper GPS locators, the 3ZERO uses the most advanced GPS technology possible to accurately alert you to the presence of all 'fixed' speed traps such as Gatso and Truvelo cameras as well as SPECs average speed cameras found on motorway networks. For the first time, Snooper has combined GPS and radar/laser technology in one portable device.
New and improved radar/laser detection technology
3ZERO has a couple of new tricks up its sleeve. First of all it incorporates a highly sensitive laser detector designed to alert you to all types of mobile laser guns. Snooper's laser detection technology is more accurate than ever, giving longer detection ranges and more advanced pre-warning.
3ZERO also incorporates a highly sophisticated radar detector. Many speed traps such as Gatso cameras and handheld radar guns, 3ZERO can detect these speed traps and provide advance warnings of their position.

Detection range of 'fixed' speed traps using GPS
This can be set to your own personal requirements, anywhere from 200yds up to 1000yds. However 3ZERO also includes an 'Auto Range' feature, which varies the detection range, depending on the speed you are travelling. The faster you are going - the longer the detection distance.

Only Snooper speed camera detectors utilise our unique AURA database. All GPS location systems are only as good as the information that is stored inside them, therefore it is essential that your system uses the best, AURA was created to do so.
Snooper 3ZERO is different to other non-Snooper systems because the AURA database allows you to download live updates 24 hours a day, every day. Cheaper, lower quality systems usually only give you the opportunity to download a database 4 times a year. This means that your system can be up to three months out of date before your next update. If you get caught out by a new speed camera you didn't know about, you'll have no-where to turn. With AURA, if a new speed camera appears, it will be live on our database within 48 hours.
The AURA database contains all information that is vital to today's driver. The database now comprises of the widest number of locations imaginable including: Gatso, MCS, Truvelo, Watchman, DS-2, Speedcurb, SPECs Average Speed Cameras, Mobile Laser sites, Mobile Camera Vans, Mobile Gatso and Truvelo Cameras, Accident Hotspots, High Risk Zones, Digital Cameras, Congestion Charge Cameras and Schools (optional). Plus the database includes the Speed Limits at all these locations so your Snooper 3Zero can count down accurately to the hazard!
How does it work?
As well as the UK and Ireland, the AURA speed trap database now offers worldwide protection. Included in our system are locations in Germany, Holland, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Luxembourg, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Romania, Russia, North America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa and is still growing. So from Manchester to Monaco you will always be protected by Snooper.
Audible and visual alerts
Snooper 3ZERO incorporates a super-bright text display, which indicates the camera type, the distance to the speed trap and confirms the speed limit on that stretch of road. This is accompanied by a voice warning and then a series of beeps - but only if you are driving over the speed limit.
Installation
3ZERO can be installed in seconds and can be moved from vehicle to vehicle. Simply mount it on the dashboard or the on the windscreen with the mounting brackets provided. Power it from the cigarette lighter socket, switch it on and you are ready to go!
