The Road Angel Compact is the new entry level model in the Road Angel range. It utilises the award-winning Road Angel database and features visual, audible and spoken alerts.

With fully integrated GPS and laser technology, Road Angel compact is capable of
alerting you to a variety of road hazards including: Accident Blackspots, Safety Cameras (Gatso, Truvelo, SPECS, Watchman, Speedcurb, DS2) and mobile laser guns; with audible, visual and voice alerts.

Using the latest global positioning satellite (GPS) and laser detection technology, Road Angel compact constantly gives you an accurate speed reading and an audible and visible alert as you approach hazardous sections of the road.

Road Angel Compact Key Features

Advisory Speed Limit Warning: On approaching a camera site, Road Angel compact will audibly and visually inform you of the posted speed limit for your location.

Laser Alert System (optional) - for mobile camera alerts. A clip-on front
and rear laser detection device, Laser Alert detects mobile laser traps and gives
an audible and visual alert through the Compact Road Angel LCD display.

Installation Free - compact includes both dashboard and windscreen mounts and
comes complete with a cigarette lighter power cord for plug+play operation.

School Proximity Warning Mode - warns user that he/she is approaching a primary or secondary school. Time sensitive, only issues alerts during school opening hours.

Comprehensive Database - Capable of storing up to 50,000 locations, compactis pre-loaded with all the latest data. Updated and verified continuously, the central database can also be personalised to include information specific to the user.

Easy Updates (Subscription)

With the number of speeding cameras set to dramatically increase and accident data changing constantly, Blackspot Interactive are constantly working to verify new locations and delete obsolete ones. These changes are easily updated to your ROAD ANGEL with the supplied software.

The first six months of updates are free of charge. Subsequent subscription charge of £3.99 per month by Direct Debit, a minimum 12 month contract is required.

Hardware Requirements

In order to update the Road Angel Compact speed camera database, you will require a PC with USB connector, running Windows 98 or above and Internet Explorer 5.0 or above. Road Angel Compact is currently not compatible with Apple Macintosh computers.

Road Angel Compact with Laser Sensor Add this Laser Sensor to your Road Angel Compact system to gain protection against handheld laser and mobile speed detection devices. It neatly clips on top of your Road Angel Compact and plugs into the back of your unit, blending in nicely with the curved design.
